The two basic types of packaging tape are acrylic and rubber tape. The basic material for both of these products is polypropylene film. A specific adhesive is applied to it, which forms a bonding layer with the surface.

Each of the adhesives used has slightly different properties that you need to remember when choosing a packaging tape.

Packing tapes, both acrylic and rubber, are available in a standardized width: 48 mm. The length of individual tapes is different - from 45 m up to 120 m. When choosing a packing tape, please pay attention to the measurement units used by the manufacturer. Depending on the type of tape, its length (the amount wound on a roll) can be expressed in yards (yd) or meters (m). For example: 50 yd of tape converted to meters equals 45.7 m.

No less important in the case of packaging tapes may be their color. The use of colored tape certainly affects the aesthetics of packages, allows them to stand out and adapt to the nature of the company. Colorful tapes will be irreplaceable in the office and at home. The most color options can be found among acrylic tapes. You can choose from: white, black, red, blue, orange, green, yellow. In more standard versions, the tapes are brown and transparent. Stretch film is made of polypropylene. It is a thermoplastic material that provides the film with very high flexibility and extensibility with its small thickness. Its very important feature is also mechanical strength and high resistance to external weather conditions - high and low temperatures, fluctuations in air humidity. Stretch film is a material whose surface shows significant "stickiness" or "adhesiveness". This makes it perfectly adhere to its subsequent layers and wrapped objects. This also facilitates its application even on large-size objects.

Packing straps are an essential accessory for safe transport of goods or their storage in warehouses. With their use, you can easily wrap, fasten together and attach to a given substrate (e.g. pallets) various materials. It can be both several items and single packages. Depending on the type of goods, as well as the conditions in which they will be transported or stored, the most suitable strapping tapes should be selected.

There are several types of straps available in the market. They differ in the material from which they were made and which works best in certain conditions. These materials have different technical parameters - they are characterized by different strength, flexibility, resistance to external conditions, as well as the method of application. They can be successfully adapted to the type, size, weight of the objects and the forces that will affect them during transport.

Pallet strapping tape is ideal for securing loads to a pallet - single items and multiple packages transported collectively. It ensures their precise and stable fixation, prevents them from moving. These can be large dimensions, smaller items, both heavy and light. Pallet strapping tape, properly applied and selected, does not damage the surface of the loads it secures. In addition, in critical places, such as the corners of cardboard boxes, you can use protective corners.

In addition to strapping pallet loads, strapping tapes are perfect for strapping other materials. We can easily secure a soft cardboard box with them, protecting it from opening. They are also great for strapping materials such as sawn timber, elements used in heavy industry, foundry, construction and furniture industries.

Clips and protective corners are necessary elements when using all kinds of strapping tapes. They permanently and safely connect polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET) tapes. They stabilize and enable their proper tension. They are reliable, durable and easy to use.

The last type, polypropylene clasps, is used for the same strap (PP strap) in automatic and manual packaging. Protective corners have universal sizes that can be successfully adapted to various sizes of single and collective packages placed on pallets. They are available in two versions: full and with a hole. The former works best with polypropylene tape. In turn, the second allows you to pull the elastic polyester tape through the holes. Both versions of the protective corners are made of polypropylene. They are available in packages of 1000 pieces.

In principle, you can choose the right accessory for each material used when packing or securing goods.
